mmar 3 Posted April 10, 2017 in Ultimaker3 stand with a lazy spool holder (edited) I just came up with an idea for the 3d printer stand; - It's compact as 600mmx450mxH700mm - It holds many materials with different spool sizes - The lazy spool holder allows to feed materials directly to the printer. - With tool storage So far it is working very well in my office. It solved issues of using Faberdashey filaments. Edited April 10, 2017 by Guest

mmar 3 Posted April 10, 2017 in Ultimaker3 stand with a lazy spool holder Awesome! The wooden parts are done by you too? Yes. All done in house. Wood parts are cut with CNC router from my office. The rest of furniture are in MDF so I have to match the materials for this. But It would be nicer to use plywood as well.
mmar 3 Posted April 10, 2017 in Ultimaker3 stand with a lazy spool holder That's neat! How's the stability when the printhead shakes? Lov it! Yes it is very stable as long as it placed on a leveled floor. Although I only tested with UM3.
