Cura issues

Hello everyone,

I've been using Cura for a couple of years now, but the last six months the upgrades have messed up and I can't reliably use it anymore. This is causing massive issues with my productivity. Every time I contact 'support', they spend two weeks messing about and then tell me to use an earlier version, which is kind of an ok temporary solution, but does not solve the fact that I cannot use or open the current versions.

Is there any other software I could use as easily?

Are any of you having similar trouble? I have a Mac, and it's the same on both devices I have.

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with Cura. Perhaps if you tell us what sort of trouble, on what version of MacOS, we'll be able to help you out.

hi - Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6. I can open cura fine, but when I open a file, it takes ages, if ever, to load. I have deleted and reloaded the software. I'm thinking I will just download an earlier version as I have never had this issue before and am two months behind on a print now, which is causing issues... I've restored the computer.

cura 'helpdesk' take two weeks sometimes to respond, usually with a patronising screen shot of how to download the software.

What are the specs of the machine you are running on? What kind of model are you trying to load?
