Cura creating unnecessary extra wall segments

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm having this issue with Cura 2.7.0 when I specify a wall line count and zero infill it generates extra line segments and extra travel moves that are unnecessary. The model can be found here:

Even if i set a wall line count of one, it still does it.

Anyone know if i'm doing something wrong? I would like to print the wall with a 3 line thickness but don't want all the stringing this will produce

Thanks so much for any help :)

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
