Since the new update (4.0.1.20171023) my ultimaker 3 has been freezing up during various maintenance routines, namely during coreprint cleaning (while cooling down, heating up etc.).

Is there anything I can do?

    I'm sorry to hear you experience issue with the UM3 after updating.

    What would help is if you can send the log files to us, using WeTransfer or something similar.

    You can get the log files using the menu: System -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Dump logs to USB
