Nozzle touching printed layer when moving

Posted · Nozzle touching printed layer when moving

Greetings,

I'm currently experiencing an issue with my UM3 using 2.85mm PLA where the Nozzle barely touches the section it just printed as it travels to continue printing on the same layer.

I've tried the following to no avail at .15mm, 210C, and 40mm/s infill AND wall speed:

  • Reduced flow to 90% (read online that it could be caused by over extrusion)
  • Reduced temperature to 205C
  • Changed layer height to .2mm (last ditch effort)

I've attached a picture below and please ignore the bottom-right to top-left movement issue as that is just due to me canceling the print.

As you can see, the bottom-left to top-right diagonal is the nozzle leaving its path behind as it traveled to another part of the layer to print.

Anyone have some other ideas that I can try to see if I can solve this issue? Everything else about the print looks perfect... except the lines that appear on the final layer.
