DSM Novamid® ID1030 CF10

Through our alliance with larger material manufacturers we're happy to share the first filaments that become available to you through our Ultimaker ecosystem.

One of those new materials is Novamid® ID1030 CF10, it's a carbon fiber filled grade PA6/66 filament. With a 10% carbon fiber reinforcement, it produces stronger, tougher and stiffer 3D printed parts.

On a short notice the materials will be available to you through Ultimaker Cura.

If you have any questions or experiences you want to share about this material, please share them below ?

Thanks for posting - great to finally see Ultimaker endorsing reinforced filaments. What I really like about the technical data sheet is how it explicitely states the properties measured along and across the printing lines (even if the Z-direction is still missing).

However, the properties stated on the data sheet you linked are different from those I found here on the manufacturer's page: https://www.dsm.com/content/dam/dsm/additive-manufacturing/en_US/documents/novamid-id1030-cf10-leaflet.pdf

Do you know why they are different, even if they are for the same material?

My apologies for the confusion, if you follow this link you'll find the correct datasheet.

I'll also correct the link in my original post to avoid future confusion.

No problem, thanks for correcting this. I'm really looking forward to trying out the new materials.
