Rescueing a PEEK insulator

I was a little rough on my poor hot end in the office last week.

And in the process of tightening the brass tube v2 into the peek insulator. I some how bent the brass tube v2.

Now I would like to try and rescue atleast the poor little PEEK.

The only tricky thing is, the brass tube is quite tight in their at the moment.

Also because the brass tube is a little bent, i guess brute force will result in nothing....

so any ideas... put the peek in the oven... heat it up to 300 degreens and then try and carefully screw out the brass tube ??

I can always newly cut in the inside screw profile inside the peek, i just need to get the brass out...

any advice guys ?

If you do end up breaking off the brass part, you can remove the threaded piece using a special tool. I don't know what it's called but it is designed for removing things like this that broke. It looks like a reverse threaded, cone shaped, drill bit.
