yes, several times without success.
Have you the latest firmware version installed?
I haven't heard anything similar that the printer freezes when pressing Print Removed, so I am just guessing.
The Firmware is 5.1.8.20181207.
Is it possible to Downgrade the Firmware?
I haven't tried it yet, but if you save the firmware on the USB stick it could work. But I don't think it is the firmware itself, but you could try to reinstall the current firmware again. I also have the same firmware installed and don't have this problem.
Here are some instructions and the download link for the latest firmware:
https://ultimaker.com/en/resources/52601-update-the-firmware
I haven't found a link to the previous firmware, just one marked as testing, but it should be the previous one:

Hello Smithy,
thanks for the link. Unfortunately I can't select the update via the touchscreen. The link is grayed out because of the wait_cleanu mode.
Is there any other way to update?
Can you do a factory reset? The wrong state should be cleared as well (hopefully)
The reset link is grayed out because of the wait_cleanu mode. grrrrrrrr…..
Shit!
But you don't have a button anymore on the printer display, right?
Where do you see the state, in the Cura monitor?
I tried API to Update
Result: "message": "Unable to start updating, The printer is not Idle."
Ok, I also thought in that direction, if there is maybe a way via the API, but unfortunately not 🙂
But what is shown on the display? Is there nothing to confirm that you have removed the print?
Explain a little bit more what you did after the print.
Ist just the normal Info on the Display:
PRINT FINISHED
Button:Print Removed
If I Press "Print Removed" the circle rotates endlessly. But still with the same Info on the Display.
Can you try if you can make a Cura Connect reset? I think it is in the network menu...
The Cura Connect reset link is grayed out because of the wait_cleanu mode.
I it possible to connect via SSH; FTP ….?
SSH is possible if you enable the developer mode on the printer, but I don't know how to reset the state via command line there. You should also be very careful because you can easily brick your printer completely (ok, it is half bricked now)
One more question, have you tried to update the firmware via USB stick? Because a Cura Connect reset would help, but it is not possible. A firmware update could help as well because there should also be a reset.
enable the developer mode --- > grayed out because of the wait_cleanu mode ahhhh
I have the Firmware on the USB stick, but can not select it (grayed out). Or should the update start automatically?
No it don't start automatically.
Hmm, then you can only contact your reseller, they have some possibilities to force a factory reset via the board.
Ok thank you for your help
Step 1 MAil to reseller
Step 2 Beer 😉
Prost auf den Schock 🙂
Hey, I'm having the exact same problem today! How did you resolve it?
Thanks,
T
