DesignSpark - this should be so easy, but.. help please

I am trying to use DesignSpark instead of Solidworks (for this particular job) and this should be so easy but blowed if I can work out how. I am in Sketch mode and have drawn a number of interconnected lines and want to go back and change the length of a particular line - but how? I can select the line and see its length at the bottom of the screen, on the right hand side but I cannot change that displayed figure. How do I get a box displayed that will allow me to change it?

If I do change it will the connected line(s) automatically remain connected and move with the changed dimension?

Normally you can select a point (=endpoint of line) and move that. If you press the space bar after selecting, when in the move tool, you can enter numeric values.

But the best is not to work on lines in sketch mode, but rather on 3D-planes and edges in 3D-mode. Contrary to most other 3D-CAD systems, DesignSpark Mechanical (and it source SpaceClaim) are designed for "push-pull modeling" of solids. You can keep editing existing shapes: it won't break the tree-structure because there is no tree...

If you haven't done so, I would highly recommend watching the tutorials on Youtube. Search for "DesignSpark Mechanical", and on the DesignSparkRS channel, in the videos scroll down to 3 and 4 years ago: there are a lot of excellent tutorials. (Later tutorials of 1 year ago are not so good, so take the old ones.)
