HI

I have been using cura 15.04.6 for a while and decided to try 3.6 after 15.04.6 couldn't render a vase.

I am using the robo 3d r1+ and octoprint

I checked the start gcode to make sure I saw the g29 auto level.

but when it went to print it did not execute the g29.

if fact it just started printing in mid air , at the height the nozzle happened to be at.

in cura 3.6 the default gcode flavor was marlin.

IN cura 15.04.6 the default gcode flavor was reprap(marlin/sprinter).

should I change the gcode flavor to reprap??

or is there something else causing this problem?

No, keep it set to Marlin. RepRap is now specific to the reprap firmware supported by some controllers (i.e. the Duet).
