Posted · Changing printer profiles

I'm new to this. 3D printing since a few days. Using Sketchup, and Cura for my Ender-3 gave me good results without many hick-ups.

Now on Cura 4.0.0. So now I wanted to tweak some of the profile settings. I added a second Ender-3 printer to fiddle with. Easy. However, to change the a profile (say change the layer height for the 'Normal' profile from 0.15 to 0.16) I go to the print settings, change de the number, and then select another profile and choose keep on the prompt (so says the help page). But then the new number (0.16) is taken for both the 'Normal' profile AND for all the other profiles. If I change the other selected profile back, then the 'Normal' profile also changes back.  I'm at this for longer now than it took me to make the first good print after receiving the printer ... What I'm I not understanding?
