Firmware update for dual extrusion

I've got a question about the update of the firmware for dual extrusion. I've just use the function called "Install default marlin firmware" in Cura. Is it enough ?

Is it possible to check the temperature of the 2nd extruder with the ulticontroler and move the 2nd motor for extrusion ?

Hi,

that should be enough ( worked for me). You should see the 2nd temp reading on your ulticontroller at once.

What firmware version shows on your ulticontroller?

Mine is Ultimaker 13.03

I will check this evening. I undestood why the first time it didn't work. I updated the ultimaker before selected 2 extruder in the preference of Cura. So the ultimaker was updated with the firmware for only one extruder.

So now, i've got the temp for the 2 extrudeur, but I think it could be improve :
