Is there an easy way of cleaning hot-end of PLA?

Had a bit of a leakage of PLA over the hot-end of my UMO+.

Cleaned up most of it with a hot air gun, but the temp. sending unit and heater element

are still covered with a thin layer of PLA and I can't get them back into the hot-end.

Any way of maybe dissolving PLA, or any other means of removing it without damaging anything?

Grtz,

Alex

Found what I was looking for: Euro-Claddings Quick Paint Remover does the job.

Banned in the EU, fortunally I still have a bunch of cans laying arround. 😄

    Grtz.,

    Alex.
