Cura keeps adding floating layers to interior of object

When I slice this model of a BMW Z4m, it keeps adding strange layers on the interior of the car and i'm not sure why. The model was made in 3ds max and exported as a stl. This happens with many of the similar models I have. The files are in the zip file here. Can anyone help me slice this model so the interior is completely visible?

Did you check if your models are manifold / watertight?

i try to use meshlab to select all non manifolded vertices and edges and delete them but it it either doesnt fix it or adds more strange layers where you only see the interior. How would else can i watertight the stl file?
