Support Starting in Mid-Air

Hi.
I am with Cura 4.4.0
Octoprint 1.3.12
Octpi 0.16.0
Chrome Browser
I am trying to print a Bust of an Easter Island Statue, and I generate support everywhere and Cura comes up with support that starts in mid-air.

 

I tried playing around with support xy and z distances to no avail.

Could you provide original geometry as .stl or .step?

Hi Falsf Thanks for your answer. 

I am including the .stl file that I used. 

In the original file as you will see the statue is on it's side and it is only 1.215mm tall!.

So what I did is to move the statue so that it would be vertical with a lot less support than on it's side. And enlarged it so that it would be 50mm tall. (Z axis.).

 

And that's what you see in the picture.

Typos

I downloaded the .STL, opened it in Cure 4.4.1, scaled it up to 5000% (when I finally found the tiny dot on the bed 😉 ), and the supports seem fine.
