1mm tall part sliced at 0.1mm yields 4 layers ?? - Confused

Posted · 1mm tall part sliced at 0.1mm yields 4 layers ?? - Confused

Okay guys, I am confused, I thought that if I have 0.1 mm layer height and I am building a 1 mm part, I would end up with 10 layers.

how come CURA is only giving me 4 ?

    I feel like a rookie.. lol

    That is what it was, during the scale from inches to metric it moved into the build plate. Thank you.

     

    I struggle to rememeber that step at times, I wish there was a way for the models to NOT go into the build plate unless we make them go in. Sort of like the "scale small items"
