Devider plane in Cura ?

After a 30+hour print on my experimental Ultimaker+, I noticed that Cura put some kind of plane or divider into the drawing ?

It did not effect the printing as far as I can tell, but still am curious what this is.

Just a wild guess - is this at the max height of the "normal" Ultimaker?

Isn't this an illustration of where the print is currently at in terms of layer number?

I found out it is indeed a plane to show the current height of the print,

but it does not show it all the time, it pops up more often when I do a Spiral contour print,

but I cant find the trigger that makes it visible...DAID ?

It should follow the Z height of the current print. It only shows if you haven't changed anything in the scene from the moment you started the print.
