Posted · Filament Feed Problem when printing

Hello,

we have an Ultimaker S5 and keep having problems with the feed of the material. We used the german rankforce material and only had problems with it, then we switched to Verbatim and all of them are PLA. The first time it worked fine with the Verbatim PLA but now the same problem is starting again and we cannot get a whole print without any feed problems.

It looks like the filament is not forwarding and then is scrubbed away and stuck.

I have tested everything I can think of, cleared the print core, made sure the material is now on a bearing stand so this is not getting stuck, tried different hardness of the spring on the feeder at the back.

Attached are some pictures what happens to the material when it gets stock. Any idea how I can solve this. We also have a Ultimaker 2+ and I never had any problems with this one.
Would be great if somehow had any idea on how to solve this.

    Hello,

but I have tried it with different feed settings and still sometimes had the problem. I opened it and cleared out the whole thing. Hopefully it will work better now.
