First of all Hi to everyone,

I need some help with older Cura version 1.54. Im trying to install it on Pop_OS .

I understand i need to use Git , and I followed numerous tutorials how to do it, However I always get an error :"does not appear to contain  CMakeLists.txt"  after running cmake .. command (keep in mind i run it in different folders too). Plus I couldn't locate CMakeLists.txt file anywhere either. Em I doing something wrong?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Many Thanks

The version you are trying to install (15.04, not 1.54) is 5 years old. Starting from 2016, Ultimaker did a full rewrite of the frontend of Cura. The tutorials for compiling modern versions of Cura will not work with the legacy version of the code.
