Posted · Problem to print COVID 19 mask

Hi to all from France,

I've tried to print COVID-19 masks for medical people, but my first tries wera a complete mess.

I the tried to print smaller pieces with different settings under Cura, and the best I've got still gives me headaches on first layers :

I then tried to print this torture test : http://www.primante3d.com/test-impression-3d-21092018/

There are many defaults :

I'd love your help to understand which settings I should modify. I'm under Cura 4.5.0 on Mac with the following settings :

Hello, which printer are you using and what type of filament? It looks like your bed is too far from your nozzle when you start printing and perhaps there are is room for some cooling optimisation based on the stringing in between the pedestals at the top.

    Thanks SandervG,

I'm on Anet A8 with PLA. It seems I can't put that information in my profile...

I've set autolevelling on my bed, I'm gonna adjust it to see. What do you mea by colling optimization ?

Here is what it gives on my mask's tries, if it helps.

    Thanks.
    Dom
