Cura won't show the imported profiles in the dropdown menu

I was using Cura 4.2 and tried to import two profiles for my Ender 3: a .gcode file and a .curaproilfe one. Well, according to Cura the importation was successful, but when I go to the profiles dropdown menu, only the default profiles and the ones that I myself created are shown. The recently imported ones are nowhere to be seen. I uninstalled Cura and upgraded to 4.5, but the same thing happens: it keeps not showing the imported profiles. Any advice, please?

I have the same problem with Cura 4.7.  I successfully imported a custom profile, but it does not show.

Im having same problem. tried to import dog profile and said it was done successfully but didnt show up

Just happened to me as well on Cura 4.7.1. I am trying to import some previously saved config profiles and they are not showing up after successfully saying it has been imported. After doing this a few times I start to get a "(#X)" next to the name of the import in the success window. This does nothing for visibly seeing the profile.
