Hello everyone šŸ™‚Ā

Ā

ApologiesĀ if this is just a case of me not knowing where the option is lol but in Cura 4.6.1, the helpers (light blue colourĀ for support etc) is translucent. Now in some cases this is very useful but for the most part I preferredĀ it being a solidĀ colour. Is there an option to change this back? I couldn'tĀ find it and Google isn't helping as I don't entirely know what I should be searching for -_-Ā

Ā

I have attached an image of what IĀ mean.Ā

Ā

Thanks a lot in advance!Ā

Ā

All the best,

Ā

Will šŸ™‚Ā

Ā

Nope.

Ā

At least not easily. You could go the route of a custom theme. Switching themes requires a restart though, so it will not be a convenient toggle switch. Let me know if the amount of trouble you are willing to go through.

    Thanks for the reply mate!

    Ā

    To be honest I don't mind a semi- permanent workaround because I don't think i will miss the see-through-ness much lol What would you need to do for a custom theme?Ā

    Ā

    Thanks again šŸ™‚

    * Download this file (see the "Raw" button) as theme.json: https://gist.github.com/fieldOfView/e00ca6953754e53962196a0af4b9f256

    * In Cura go to "Help -> Show configuration folder"

    * In the "themes" folder create a new folder named "cura-nontransparent" and place the theme.json file in it

    * Restart Cura

    * Go to the General preferences and from the theme dropdown select "Ultimaker Dark non-transparent helpers"

    * Restart Cura again

    Ā

    You should now have the same dark Cura theme, with the transparent helpers turned opaque.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
        (Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series Ā
        New features
        Ā
        Temperature status.Ā During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state.Ā It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, theĀ Dump logs to USBĀ option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory.Ā If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to selectĀ Confirm removalĀ on the printerā€™s display. VisitĀ this pageĀ for more information about this feature.
