Ich habe auf MacOS Catalina geupdatet, bisher lief mit Cura 3.6 alles gut. Musst nun die Version wechseln und die aktuelle Version 4.6. liefert nur Schrott bei mir im Slicen. Daher wurde mir die 4.4.1 empfohlen. Installation funktioniert, allerdings lässt sich Cura nicht starten - reagiert nicht mehr.

Habt ihr vielleicht Tips?

Aktuelle Version macOS Catalina 10.15.5

    Hallo,

    bin "3D-Neuling". Cura wurde mir empfohlen, installiert und nix...  nur kurz die Eieruhr, das wars. Habe ewig nach der Ursache gesucht, dann in der Ereignisanzeige, wurde mir ein Dateicrash angezeigt, ne *.dll, welche von Cura benötigt wird. Recherchiert und die Datei hat was mit den opengl Treibern zu tun. Treiber aktualisiert, bzw verschiedene Versionen ausprobiert, alles ohne Erfolgt. Jetzt muss ich ein weing weiter ausholen, wegen meiner "speziellen" Hardware. Ist ein "shuttle" Gerät auf dem Tisch, vor ca 8 Jahren zusammengeschraubt, Asus ITX, mit Intel i5-3570K, 16Gb Ram, 256GB SSD mit win10x64pro, 1TB HDD....

    Also das Board hat ne Intel HD4000, die ich nie genutz habe, Habe eine Matrox M9148 (4 fach) Graka mit 3 Monitoren,

    Nun habe ich einfach 1 Monitor von der Matrox ab und an die HD4000 und schon startet Cura - alles gut, außer Teilbereiche auf beiden Matrox Monitoren werden nicht richtig dargestellt. ziehe ich den Monitor von der HD4000 ab, startet Cura nicht, also echt komisch. Eben gerade habe ich die Matrox raus geschmissen und ne alte ATI rein gesteckt, ist auch ne PCIe Karte mit DVI,HDMI u VGA Ausgang, 2 Monitore per DVI u HDMI angeschlossen - nix an der Intel HD   und Cura startet auch. Also irgend etwas stimmt mit der Matrox nicht, bzw dessen Treiber. Ich bin kein Gamer, nur Home Office und Modellbahn, dafür kam jetzt auch der 3D drucker dazu, und da tuts die ATI denke ich......hoffe ich

    War jetzt etwas verwirrt, weil du deinen Beitrag hier dazu geschrieben hast, wo es eigentlich um den Apple Mac geht, aber ich kenne mich jetzt schon aus 🙂

     

    Ja dein Problem hat sicher etwas mit den OpenGL Treibern zu tun, da kannst du nur selbst schauen was du eventuell noch updaten kannst. Falls du noch Hilfe brauchst, mach bitte einen neuen Beitrag auf, sonst wird das Verwirrend wenn Windows Probleme in einem Mac Beitrag stehen. Findet auch niemand, Danke!

    Weil der Author dieses Themas keine Rückmeldung gegeben hat, möchte ich das hier ergänzen: Cura 4.7.1 läuft einwandfrei unter MacOS 10.15.7. Keine Probleme beim Slicen.

    Möglicherweise wird der erste Start erschwert, dann muss man entweder direkt nach dem Versuch in Einstellungen->Sicherheit gehen und dann das Öffnen freigeben, oder man folgt dieser Beschreibung.

        In this stable release, Cura 5.3 achieves yet another huge leap forward in 3D printing thanks to material interlocking! As well as introducing an expanded recommended print settings menu and lots of print quality improvements. Not to mention, a whole bunch of new printer profiles for non-UltiMaker printers!

        The UltiMaker S7 is built on the success of the UltiMaker S5 and its design decisions were heavily based on feedback from customers.
         
         
        So what’s new?
        The obvious change is the S7’s height. It now includes an integrated Air Manager. This filters the exhaust air of every print and also improves build temperature stability. To further enclose the build chamber the S7 only has one magnetically latched door.
         
        The build stack has also been completely redesigned. A PEI-coated flexible steel build plate makes a big difference to productivity. Not only do you not need tools to pop a printed part off. But we also don’t recommend using or adhesion structures for UltiMaker materials (except PC, because...it’s PC). Along with that, 4 pins and 25 magnets make it easy to replace the flex plate perfectly – even with one hand.
         
        The re-engineered print head has an inductive sensor which reduces noise when probing the build plate. This effectively makes it much harder to not achieve a perfect first layer, improving overall print success. We also reversed the front fan direction (fewer plastic hairs, less maintenance), made the print core door magnets stronger, and add a sensor that helps avoid flooding.
         

         
        The UltiMaker S7 also includes quality of life improvements:
        Reliable bed tilt compensation (no more thumbscrews) 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi A 1080p camera (mounted higher for a better view) Compatibility with 280+ Marketplace materials Compatibility with S5 project files (no reslicing needed) And a whole lot more
