Posted · For beginners to Cura and 3d Printing

I am completely new to 3D printing.

I have an Anycubic i3Mega which came with Cura software.

I loaded this and got a message that a new version was available, v6.4.1.

I  have looked on the Ultimaker website for a user manual to learn how to use this software.

I found a project which provided .stl files and converted the first of these to a G code file.

I tried to find out how to close the first.stl file so that I could load and slice the next file in the sequence, but I have not had any success so far. Surely this software does not require to b be shut down and then rerun to process the next?

I will be greatful for any advice.

Peter

look under 'edit' for the shortcuts

select the part, and choose 'delete' key to delete the selected part

or use the right combination (Mac/Windows) to delete everything on the build plate
