Posted · Modifying settings for overlaps when using CuraEngine

Hi,

I'm currently working on a project where I want to atomate things, i.e. i want to use CuraEngine to slice my STL files into gcode. And my question is, when i combine two models using command line and CuraEngine can I change overlap settings (Modify settings for overlaps) in command line using -s? And how? I cannot find any -s command for changing pattern in overlaps and infill density.

Thanks a lot.

    In order for there to be overlap, you must load multiple models into CuraEngine. I am not 100% certain the commandline interface supports that. You could try

    > curaengine -l mainobject.stl -s <setting>=<value> ... -l overlapping.stl -s cutting_mesh=true -s <setting>=<value>
