Posted · Cura 4.7.1 auto position model to useable area on build plate

Hello everyone!

 

Is there an option in 4.7.1 to automatically move a model in the XY plane as it's initially positioned so it is placed in the useable build area?  I have a large model where I have to tweak the XY position to get it to slice every time I do an export from Fusion 360.

    As a matter of fact, it's exactly the feature I'm working on right now. We're currently implementing the same auto positioning library as PrusaSlicer uses.
