How can I temporarily switch on the lights via Digital Factory?

My Ultimaker S5 is often printing throughout the night, and I have switched off its lights, because they are only rarely needed.

I often use the Digital Factory to look at the progress, but whenever I want to use the webcam, I basically can't see anything because both the room and the printer isn't illuminated.

It would be really awesome if I could switch on S5's lights remotely via the web interface, so that I can use the camera properly.

Is there a way? If yes, please let me know. If not, would it please be possible to include this feature in a new update?

Cheers,

Sascha

    Hi,

There currently is no such feature indeed, as @Dim3nsioneer mentioned.

I'll forward it to the product owner of Digital Factory to see if there's something that can be placed on the roadmap.

    Chris

        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
