Cannot connect Ultimaker S5 to wifi or update firmware

Hello,

I have three brand new ultimaker S5 machines in a STEM lab. I have been able to get 2 of the 3 on our wireless network and also update the firmware on them. I am having a problem with the third 3d printer. I cannot get this machine on our wireless network. I thought updating the firmware on this printer might help but I cannot update the firmware either. The update process keeps failing. The firmware version on the problematic S5 is 5.3.10.20200107.

 

I'm not sure what to do from here. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi sdavis0418,

 

I'd use the USB method, download the firmware then store it to the USB and use it to upload the firmware via printer menu.

 

Be aver that there is two firmware versions for the S5, read about it here:

The latest version is: 5.8.1
