Slicing Problem

I have found that there seems to be a limitation of some sort when trying to slice a project with multiple of the same parts on the bed.  For example I have the issue right now when I have 7 parts on the bed it will slice however as soon as I put 8 it says slicing but it wont proceed.  Any help with this would be great.

There have been instances where multiples don't want to slice, but it's usually higher than 8.  If that 8th model happens to intrude into the Non-Printable area (that includes a skirt or brim around the models) then Cura won't slice.

Place 4 models on the build plate in a way that 8 would fit.  Group those 4 models and then Export them as a Binary STL.  Cura will turn the 4 separate models into a single model in a new STL file.

Clear the build plate and then open your new STL file and then select Multiply and add 1 instance.  That should give you the 8 models (two groups of 4) and it should slice provided they all fit within the "Printable" area.  This will limit your options if you had intended to use "per model" settings (because Cura thinks there are only two models), but if you weren't going to do that it should prove to be a decent work-a-round.

Please post logfiles / project files. There could be all kinds of things that are going wrong (and for most of them we need both of those files to debug it)
