Posted · Unable to add new materials

Version 4.8. Have not been able to add new materials from marketplace or manually. Have been

manually changing settings for each material type. Cannot call up existing materials in library.

Is there a video or some type of process sheet to use? Looked thru this site  and youtube cant

get material library going.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply nallath. I have checked the filament diameter and changed it to 1.75, still

no luck in adding a filament to the usable material list. Another thing the list does is it make a material in the middle

dropdown but wont add it to the selectable list. There is a blue star that comes and goes and I cant

    make sense of that either.

    Cheers,

Thank you for this clarification, I was having trouble trying to find the IGUS material I installed to print a bearing. With your information I just added a S3 printer to my list and then I could read the material I installed. I then copied the properties (manually) to the material list for my Ender 3 Pro which uses 1.75 mm filament.
