Vase Mode/Spiralize outer contour not showing

I'm very new to 3D printing, I was given an XYZ Da Vinci Mini by a close family friend recently and I decided to use cura after being fed up with the lack of options and immense amount of bugs/issues with XYZmakerStudio. I wanted to print a vase mode Christmas tree as a test to make sure i had cura set up right with my printer, and just because I wanted some festive stuff for my desk. I found a model on thingiverse and imported it, scaled it, and then looked around to find out how to turn on vase mode. After hunting around for nearly an hour I can't find anyone with a similar problem as me, and no mention in tutorials of "if this happens, do this" for my scenario. My special modes tab in settings does not have Spiralize outer contour, or anything similar. It only has surface mode, mesh processing rank, and 4 mold modes. Can anyone help me figure out if  this a case of user error or software error? (using latest version of cura)
