Slicing Issue

When puting a 3D model into Cura it places a hit box around the 3D model that is much larger than it needs to be and making it unable to print it due to the hit box being to large. How do I fix this?

For some reason the model is grouped. You can ungroup them by pressing right mouse button and select "ungroup"
