Cura 4.8 is slow saving files

Posted · Cura 4.8 is slow saving files

Hi all, i have been using cure for months now with many upgrade versons, currently with 4.8 it has been fine.. but over couple days it has now become very slow with saving files to either hard drive or the removeable drive, i have  looked around for some kind of indication to what it could be, but nothing.
pc has AMD quad core 3.8Ghz,

ram 12Gb and

2Gb Nvivia graphics.

i do well to keep the pc the best perdormance i can.
cura behaviour is notmal with no menu lagg or any of that sort. it is onky slow while saving and can even state "Not responding" but if i leave it alone it will complete the save.
model size does not matter its still the same.

Any clues guys? thanks in advance.

        Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
