Part of model not slicing

I am fairly new to the Cura software and have only been using it for about 6 months. I have been attempting to print a prototype and have found that part of my model is not printing. Upon looking in the preview mode, these areas are not even showing as having filament going to them and are grayed out instead.1544530131_CuraScreenshot.thumb.png.6267a829dabac646c302d3775a7ffa1d.png

I have attempted to change a few settings to correct this, but my inexperience has been an issue. Any ideas on how to get it to print? It is possible that due to size (the entire model is only 16 mm tall) and my nozzle size (.4mm) that I cannot print it fully on the top layer, but I feel that there might be a way around this. I am open to any suggestions you may have.

From the picture I'm pretty sure your walls just get too thin.  If your line width matches your nozzle (it should but doesn't have to) and your nozzle is 0.4mm then Cura insists on 0.8mm wall thickness.

But you can get around this by checking the box "print thin walls" and get about 2x thinner.

Or you can set the line width to a value smaller than your nozzle width.  Usually you can go down to 75% without losing quality so 0.3mm for a 0.4mm nozzle isn't too bad.

You can also buy smaller nozzles.  Typically 0.1mm is the smallest available.

Thank you! I adjusted the nozzle size in Cura to 0.2mm (it wouldn't let me show 0.1mm) and it seemed to cut it down a lot. I have ordered some 0.2mm nozzles now and hopefully that will work well. Since I am printing in PETG, I am worried about clogging at 0.1mm.
