Where can I find all the variable of Cura settings?

Where can I find all the variables of Cura settings?

For example I need "M900 K{layer_z * 0.02}" in G code, but it's "layer_z" variable from prusha. I need the same, but for Cura.

Unfortunately, you cannot do math in replacement patterns in Cura.

But like @Cuq said, there's a neat plugin to help you with Linear Advance settings.

sorry to revive this old thread but in Cura 5.0 some material specific replacement patterns are not replaced/available, even though as they are in the linked 'easy readable' webpage linked above.

 

When checking the supposedly 'source' file, the https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/blob/main/resources/definitions/fdmprinter.def.json

they are also not in there, so I'm not surprised they are not working. But that means the 'easily readable' list needs refreshing or something is missing currently in Cura itself.

 

The ones I'm missing are (at least):

 

{material_id}		The id of the material (eg 'ultimaker_pla_blue')
{material_type}		The type of material (eg 'PLA')
{material_name}		The display name of the material (eg 'Blue PLA'
{material_brand}		The brand of the material (eg 'Ultimaker')

They should be, but it is always possible a bug was introduced in Cura 5.

This is correct. There is a number of variables in addition to what is available from the fdmprinter.def.json file. These are "application defined", hence why they are listed in that section on top of the "easily readable" document.

 

Edit:

I just tested all the "Application-defined patterns", and they all work as intended for me in Cura 5.

You can use CuraSettingsWriter. link:  5axes/CuraSettingsWriter: Cura Plugin for Exporting Settings to HTML (github.com)

 

If you can't save it, try a few more versions.  

 

cura 4.2.1 --> CuraSettingsWriter-1.0.3

cura 4.13.0 --> CuraSettingsWriter-master
