Cura under windows 10 hangs after a few seconds

Posted · Cura under windows 10 hangs after a few seconds

I recently bought a new laptop with windows 10.

I installed cura 4.8. However when I start cura it stops responding after a few seconds. Nothing I do can makes it react. The only thing I can do Is kill the process via taskmanagement.

 

It worked fine on my old windows 7 machine that unfortunately crashed.

 

What can I do ?
