How to diagnose print settings for improving quality? (also: any ultimaker S5 profiles out there?)

· How to diagnose print settings for improving quality? (also: any ultimaker S5 profiles out there?)
I found a test piece on thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2975429) with a step-by-step instruction guide. I'm going to document my journey here in case other people find it useful (or if it helps others help me diagnose. :D).
- Over extrusion (I see visible horizontal lines everywhere, not as bad as in their photos, but it sounds on par)
- Not sure if I can tune this for an Ultimaker; have to do some digging. I know on repraps it's easier to fiddle with EEPROM, not sure if I even can without voiding a warranty or something on my Ultimaker.
- Stringing
- Gotta fiddle with retraction settings I'm guessing?
- Will print a temperature tower
I'll let you know how it goes. Opinions/feedback welcome.

In the Cura 5.8 stable release, everyone can now tune their Z seams to look better than ever. Method series users get access to new material profiles, and the base Method model now has a printer profile, meaning the whole Method series is now supported in Cura!
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications

Pictures below [1], but based on what I read in the guide ( https://3dnation504795197.wordpress.com/guide/ ) I'm going to try a few things for:
