Cura slices multiple horizontal surfaces into one surface

I'm pretty new at this and using Sketchup.  I've printed some very good models, but this one is giving me a migraine. This is a very simple dish drawing, no errors are showing in Sketchup. But I cannot get CURA to recognize the inset in the base of the dish.  I've redrawn it multiple times.  What am I missing??!?!

I should add, the bottom of the dish is .25", and the inset goes down .125"

a brief instruction:

 

- check the normals (first learn about the SketchUp concept of "front" and "back" surfaces)

- in SketchUp "dark gray" indicates the back side of a face

- reverse all faces that are not displayed in white (context-click and select "Reverse Faces")

Hey, you were absolutely correct.  I installed Solid Inspector and reversed those faces.  Working perfectly now.  I appreciate your help!
