Hi,

I'll have to print a few models I've found on Thingiverse (dice towers)  for my son and I'm looking at the better way to support the floor.  In a nutshell, just imagine you want to print a cube...

Would there be a way to generate an infill which might look like a tree: a few trunks touching the bottom inside portion of the cube growing branches to nicely support the top layers of the cube.  Being able to do something like this would be a lot faster and economical while still giving a good support for the top layers.

I know with PLA I've been able to print a cube with basically no infill but I have to use PETG which, so far, is not as good with overhang...

Thanks for your help and suggestions

Play with "Infill | Gradual Infill Steps".  You can start with your regular infill at 10% and that Gradual setting at 4 and the Infill percentage will increase as it approaches the roof giving good support to the first layer above the infill while leaving the lower area with sparser infill.
