Posted · Are there any instructions for replacing belts on an S5

My S5 is coming up on something like 3 years old and its time for some deep maintenance.

Ive got some new Bowden tubes and clips, and got some new belts and etc from a dealer here in the UK.  Im going to replace to lot but are there any instructions for replacing the belts? I couldn't find anything

I've written instructions on this here. The process isn't too bad, just make sure everything is lined up, and all of your spacers and pulleys are tight to the wall so there's no play in the axles.

Hello, the instructions of the link don't seem to be available anymore.

I've watch your video, good job!

Its there a manual with the instructions available to print it and store it in the maintenance folder of the machine? Right know its a bit tricky to follow a video on our technical service department but good old paper manuals are fine 😄

    Thank you.

Yes, those were posted under our old support domain. I've got the updated written link here and have moved our articles over: https://support.fbrc8.com/hc/en-us/articles/25226342861211-XY-Axes-Parts-Long-Belts-Short-Belts-Motors-S7-S5-S3

Most of the instructions currently up are for the legacy machines (UM2 series and UM3), but also some S-Series instructions.

    I'm glad the video helped!
