Posted · Cura 4.9 & 4.10 : Unable to select local 3rd party printer

Cura 4.9 & 10 are not able to find printer definitions in Linux .appimage  in    /home/<user>/.local/share/cura/4.10/definitions  /home/<user>/.local/share/cura/4.10/extruders

/home/<user>/.local/share/cura/4.9/definitions  /home/<user>/.local/share/cura/4.9/extruders

I also unpacked the 4.10 appimage and placed these files in the

/home/<user>/squashfs-root/usr/bin/resources/definitions

/home/<user>/squashfs-root/usr/bin/resources/extruders

and ran the program directly and it was not able to see these files.

In windows 4.9 and 4.10 are able to load the files.

Cura 4.8 Linux appimage does not have this problem and can load the printers.

What does it take to get these files included in Cura.  Flashforge has no interest
