Hello,

I would like to know if Ultimaker Cura slicer can be used on a Da Vinci Jr 1 Printer without having to use the filament's NFC chip on the spools of XYZprinting. Meaning, is it possible to use any other brand of filament on such 3D printer other than the XYZprinting filament? At the moment I am bound to purchase the XYZprinting brand that comes with a NFC chip at a high cost in respect of other brands. I think I read that if Ultimaker Cura is used there is no more need to use the NFC chip. Thank you

Bruno
