After a failed print Printer is unusable

I can't send a new print to the machine or reprint after a failed print.  This message is displayed in Digital Factory:

Failed, Awaiting Clean-Up..

What is this clean up that needs to be done?

Have you confirmed on the printer that you have removed the object?

Yes confirmed removal and printer displaying ready to print on its screen. Mobile app shows failed print with a big X. Digital factory says failed awaiting clean up and any further jobs sent from Cura just get queued.

Hmmm, seems the DF didn't get the real state of your printer. Have you done the workaround or FW update to fix the current certificate problem of the digital factory? 
 

Otherwise I would say you can try to remove the printer form DF and add it again,  maybe it helps.

I updated the firmware to get the machine back on to DF.  I eventually rebooted the machine which seemed to clear the block so I could get another job on it, but I will try removing and reconnecting to DF and see if that helps in future. Thanks

i get the same error after updating to 6.5.2,

Only fix is to restart the printer .

I'm finding that Digital Factory is very unreliable.  Printers show up as offline, recent history erases, lock ups.

I'm having the same problem too. I frequently get a leveling fail at the beginning of a print. I clear the fail, confirm removal, printer is ready to print, but DF say Failed, Awaiting CL...

 

Power cycling the printer is the only solution I have found.

+1, I also have the same issues after upgrading to 6.5.2. On the old FW I never encountered this problem.

 

Edit; I skipped 6.5.1 so my previous FW version was 6.2.2
