Posted (edited) · In Cura (older version) I print much faster than in Cura 4.11

Hi everybody.

Lately I 'moved' from Creality Slicer 1.2.3 (which is based on some older version of Cura) to Cura 4.11.

I wanted to print the base from this drill stand.

In the older Cura (Creality Slicer 1.2.3) estimated printing time was around 7 hours.

In Cura 4.11 estimated printing time was around 18 hours!!!

Why is this happening? How can I make the Cura 4.11 create faster code, as fast as the older version's?

In both, layer height and fill density was the same.

In the older version I use the profile quoted in the end of my post.

In Cura 4.11 I use no profile, I have simple selected Esun PLA plus as material.

(printer: Ender 3 Pro)

Posted (edited) · In Cura (older version) I print much faster than in Cura 4.11

Ok, I think I found it.

I had selected as printing material eSun PLA +.

I changed to Generic PLA and time reduced to 6 hours and 10 minutes!! (in 4.11)

I suppose some parameter in eSun PLA + must be the reason...
