So after slicing and inserting an sd card. save to removable appears. upon clicking it all of Cura turns grey {{NOT RESPONDING}} appears at the top and after some time. about 3 minutes it writes to sd card. which then windows has to repair to use again. drivers checked, power cycled machine, sd slot checked and verified, 17 sd cards same result.

Also USB connection never detects a printer attached. thanks for all the lectures on what to do with my printers, and how i print, but i don't print over USB. im not buying a rasp pi and more software, when its easily fixed in the software that claims it can do it already.

Note: if i have to just save to disk and copy it to sd card, or use other things to control a printer over usb {as most "printers" have been able to do forever}  then remove the function, kinda like having a 4 wheel drive setting on a 50cc scooter

Windows 11 pro

Dell G5 SE

Ryzen 7 processor

cura version 4.12.1

I have the same problem.  Cura does not "see "sd card or flash drive, and also sdaves to a random location (like "thinking" my cloud storage is a sd card) . Cura is great, but ist time the programmers adress this issue.

    cheers, Maarten
