Mac user scrolling issues

I'm a macbook user. My issue is when i'm trying to focus in on a point like the bottom of my helmet on the build plate my cura doesn't want to zoom in on the points i'm trying to focus on. i've looked through my 'view' and 'edit' functions but haven't been able to find anything that allows me to scroll up and down to be able to view things up close. holding right click and draging allows me to spin the plate around. but just can't seem to focus where i need to.

any suggestions or fixes is greatly appreciated.
