Dear Ultimaker community,

 

Recently we bought a new s5+ bundle with material station to use in one of our labs. We would like the students to be able to access the printer on their own laptop, which always works fine. However, I'm having some problems with properly syncing the custom materials between printers and multiple laptops.

 

For example, we use the Colorfabb bronzefill, for which the profile was created on one laptop and synced with the printer from there. A second laptop will then give an error that the material is not recognized by their Cura, making it impossible to use, except when they make their own profile which will create a mess in the database eventually.  
 

Although this sounds like a problem which could have an easy solution I haven't been able to find it and would like some guidance on this if possible!

        Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
