eSun EPA CF losing adhesion

Recommended Posts

Posted · eSun EPA CF losing adhesion

Here comes the noob question, but first the details.  I am using esun's EPA CF filament on an Ender 3 V2, and after about 10-12 layers I start losing adhesion and end up with a rat nest if its not caught right away.  My build plate is set at 90 degrees C, nozzle temp is 240 degrees C, print speed at 50 mm/s and I have a hardened steel nozzle.  So the noob question is, What could be causing this and how can I troubleshoot it?

This stuff like to be really well dried.   Setting sound about right - I run 5 degrees hotter on bed and hot end.    I use glue too
