Posted · Infill pattern wont change

I recently purchased an ender 3 and have been printing a few objects. I wanted to try out different printing patterns but every time I switch to a different pattern then slice it still shows it moving in a line pattern. In the settings for infill pattern once changed a cursive like F and a lower case x is shown. hovering over it the messages states "This setting is normally calculated but it currently has an absolute value set. click to restore the value." I don't really know what to do since with trying different quality setting like standard and dynamic etc.. it still wont change even just changing that setting without touching anything else it will still display this message. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thank you, Andrew
