as the topic says,i was doing a print when i heard a loud pop from the other room and when i went to look at my printer i noticed the filament got bound up in the reel and broke.

not wanting to lose the print job i pulled a unused filament from my dry box and frantically tried to grab the moving extruder without hampering its operating .

i held on letting the extruder use its existing filament and then put the filament in and pressed until it began feeding itself.

i didnt know if this would work but it did and came out with a nice 2 colored print.
